Hi,
I got an RFE on EAD Renewal and notice says the following.
The application you submitted must bear the original signature of the applicant. You must sign the attached copy of Form I-765 in the signature block marked in Red.
I got only RFE notice with this information and there is no attachment with this RFE.
I am 200% sure that I signed the application.
Now I have no idea what to do and there is no attachment to sign.
I filed myself without attorney help.
Any one please help me how to handle this RFE.
Can I send new I-765 application or request again for attachment

You might have signed using a black ink. Now-a-days, the photocopiers are so cool, you can not differentiate between original and a copy. It could be one of the reason, USCIS has sent an RFE on your EAD. Write a cover letter, Fill a new 765 form with the same details as the one you last sent and Remember to sign in BLUE ink.

Gurus, please help. Can anybody throw some light on why my LUD has changed on I-485. Could it be because of name clearance.
Name check cleared would not result in a lud. But if you get more luds in the next couple of days, which probebly means they are processing your case, you can say your name check is cleared, because they only start process your case after name check is cleared.
Is you PD current? If not, your case cann't be approved no matter how many luds.

I would like know if any of the IV members whose I-140 applications were transfered to VSC for receipting has been approved. If those IV members have received any kind of communication from VSC regarding processing of I-140 please post the details for benefit of other members. My case should have been processed at TSC, but was sent to VSC for receipting and has been stuck there for quite some time. It appears that VSC has stopped processing I-140's as of April 2006 and have not processed any applications since then. I would sincerely appreciate if members with I-140 at VSC to please post any updates they may have received. Any idea when I-140 PP will be reinstated?

Usually, even if the employer or attorney put their address, the USCIS mails the card to the address marked as the home address of the applicant.
Note that the I-765(EAD) and AP are not mandatory forms. Talk your employer into saying "these are not required right now, we can file later". And once he files the 485 and 140, you can always file the EAD and AP yourself (or use a lawyer).
I have a feeling he's trying to keep all documentation to himself. Don't let your guard down.
Purely my opinion.

I am travelling to India and I have got AP. I also have an I-94 when I arrived last time to US. This is expired and I also have a I-94 with my last H1b (expires in June 2010). Now, I am working on EAD.
My question is which I-94 I need to return to the Airlines while boarding the flight?
Also, I am starting my flight from Cincinnati to Washington. From Washington I have a connection to Dubai and then to Chennai. Where should I submit my I-94?

your second one is much better.... a bit of advice on the first one: get that yellow thing out of there!!! You first one, is a bit unorganized, and well not really too interesting, no effects that grab your eyes. The second one, while very simplistic too at least has a much more pleasing layout. Keep at it - you're already improving.

What happens when there is a problem with I-485: Denial or NOID ?
If denial, and in US, MTR can be filed and if MTR accepted, the period (from Denial) is considered as legal stay (even if not maintaining H1b status).
But if denial, and outside US, you can NOT enter on AP. Correct ? Here only option to enter US is H1b ? Can MTR be filed ?

The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recently updated (http://www.ice.gov/doclib/sevis/pdf/ApprovedSchools.pdf) their list of Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) approved schools. The schools listed have all been certified to participate in the program.
The program allows foreign students interested in obtaining an education in the United States to complete a visa petition, pay the required fee, and attend a U.S. College or University.
Interested Foreign students: There is a process in obtaining a student visa, but it is not a difficult one. The student must first obtain Form I-20 from the U.S. College or University from which he/she intends to enroll, pay the required visa fee (Form I-901) and contact a local U.S. Consulate/Embassy to schedule an interview. The SEVP procedures differ among U.S. Consulates/Embassies; contact your U.S. Consulate/Embassy NOW to determine its particular procedure on applying for a visa before planning for the interview.
Interested Schools: There is a separate process to obtain F & M Certification. Authorized school officials must obtain and complete Form I-17. If approved, the school will be certified and allowed to issue Form I-20 to qualifying foreign students.

I recently applied for a PAN Card. Got a DD through my parents in India and sent the form. Today they sent a mail with following --
1) We are yet to receive payment for application.- Kindly e-mail Cheque /DD no. and date on which amount has been debited from your account
2) Photograph provided is not proper for scanning.
Have any one faced similar problem ? A valid DD was included and they say they did not receive the payment ?? Also, the photo was of right size and clear enough so I am not sure what else to do.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
check with your bank whether they cashed the DD. tell them DD is lost - they might cancel old one & issue new one.

Hello All,
I need your advice. My H1B for first 3 years is expiring in Sep 09. I am a consultant and my project is till June 09. So I will be on bench after that till I get a new project. So if I have to file for extension should i file it now when I am in project or should i wait.
When I asked my employer about filing extension, they told that they are getting lot of queries these days. They even told be if my project is getting over early then its difficult to get an approved extension as these days they even have to send the contract letter of clients which do states that when my project is going to end.
So i need to know what are my options.
When Should I file for extension and is there any other options.

i am in same situation. i applied for employment base in Dec 2004 and family based in May 2006 through my sister. Rightnow i'm on EAD and my sister based F4 category have priority Dec 2001.
You can apply in both category. when i was filing 485 (EB3), there is question if any other 485 petition is pending? The answer is "NO" even i have applied (I-130) under Family based GC. My lawyer said filing I-130 (for family based GC) is not consider as another petition (485) for GC. So it is ok to apply in both.
